We now have 42 chalets, with 2 isolation units, and 3 hold over units.

We also have 5 individual cat cottages

The chalet’s are 9’ x 6’ inside, painted white, and fitted with cushion flooring, and under floor heating. We provide Snuggler Igloo beds fitted with sheepskin bedding, although we don't mind if you wish to bring your own. Each of the chalets has scratch posts, with toys to play, litter trays, (which are checked and scooped hourly) and a separate feeding area.

Each chalet has a little outside door, leading to a 6’ x 4’ outside run (protected by a safety passage) where you will find little garden seats, with hanging toys to keep our feline friends amused.

Music is played in the chalets through-out the day, as we try to keep the day to day sounds and routines as home orientated as possible. Thus making happier & contented residents.

At Aristocats we have excellent heated/insulated cabins built to the Feline Advisory Bureau Standards. All have outside runs and are set in lovely landscaped gardens with plenty to interest your cat.

We have security cameras placed at strategic points for your cats protection.

Included on one side of the gardens you will find 4 little cat cottages, each with their own individual runs, this garden has been dedicated to the loving memory of Fizzy, a little boarder we had with us for a very long time. These cottages when completed will be priced separately.

Once we knew that we were leaving Yorkshire, we had to think long and hard about where Fizzy would be happiest. In that we knew we would be spending a lot of time away from our home, and that the catteries in our area were dreadful compared to Aristocats. We decided that Fizzy should live with Nan and her excellent team. In that Fizzy was already a regular guest there, we knew she would be happy, and that she would get all the love and attention she needed, from her second family. It is typically kind of Nan to have dedicated the wonderful garden in Fizzy’s memory, and we will always remain extremely grateful for all that she and her team did for her. Aristocats has grown beyond recognition since Fizzy first visited several years ago, however we are sure that the high standards of care and affection given to every lucky guest remains un-changed. We are delighted to know that the more recent visitors are enjoying the luxuries of Fizzy’s garden and Lodge; every cat should have the opportunity to stay there at least once. Cathy & Trevor Rooke.

Diets

We feed whatever it is you feed your cat at home, even down to the little treats and tit-bits as you may give. We here at Aristocats look on ourselves as an extension to your home whilst you are away on holiday.

We have a great variety of all wet foods, and a great variety of complete dry foods, as well as having chicken, minced meat & rabbit in the freezer, we also have tuna for our more fussier feline lodgers.

We are also stockist of Royal Canin complete cat & dog foods. Our staff are always on hand to give advice on feeding problems where needed. Ask Tina for further help and advice on that.

The cattery is situated in quiet secluded gardens, where they are lulled into tranquillity by the sounds of the fountains from the two Koi ponds.
