I thought you might like to meet a beautiful little boy that I had the pleasure of meeting today. His name is Lyal, he is 4 yrs old, although his body looks older, he is terminally ill, due to complications brought on by his vaccinations.
He has surpassed his life expectancy already, so every day his family has with him is a blessing they say. I heard his story from a friend who was taking one of my kittens, of how the family, and Lyal loved to handle her other cat, but that they could not afford one of their own.
So, we gifted little Lyal, Tinabee Special Gift, and today, you can see how both kitten and boy settled as soon as they met. Gift, once he picked up on Lyal's heart beats, just lay down, crossed his paws, and settled in, he was even licking Lyals fingers after his mum and nurse who came with him, administered medication for little fits he was taking.
They were amazing, it was so humbling to watch. I think we were all in tears in reception today.
It makes all our little one's extra special to us all, don't you think.

Hello lovely Nan,

How Mel and I love and spoil our babies!!!  You would be so pleased and we will send photos very soon.  Unfortunately little Lyal has taken a turn for the worst and has been awaiting the operation but has been too ill to have it!  Having spent more time in hospital Mel and Richard who take turns in being in hospital with Lyal have been so pleased and comforted to have Teddy with whoever has been at home, and he has settled in so well that all the children spoil him too and when they are at school he really misses them.

Lyal is due to have the operation this tuesday in Sheffield and needless to say we all await with baited breath to see if he is at last in a situation that will enable this to take place.  We loved the article in the Cat mags and will send you the ones that appeared locally.

Thank you once again for such amazing pussies, and we will send thru pics and news of Lyal very soon.

Thank you lovely lady,

Love Mel and Berenice. 5th April 2008

Hi Nan,  thanks for your mail.  Lyal has had the op and is now back home .  I thought you would smile as just befor we left to go to hospital a friend arrived with a present for Lyal to take to hospital, a replica TEDDY!!! as the friend knew how much they mean to each other!!  So the toy Teddy went down to theatre with him!!! We will have photos done soon and will send them to you.  He seems to be looking a little better in himself but the fits are still happening so time will tell.

Will keep in touch,

Much love
